If there is one thing a Christian should do, it is to live differently. We have been called by Jesus himself to be separated from the world and to live differently from the world. This week we are going to tackle what it means to live differently. It seems that difference or diversity is celebrated in our culture, but that celebration is only on the surface. Diversity is welcomed so long as it is acceptable. It is not longer "acceptable" to be a Jesus follower; consequently, those who follow Jesus are not celebrated but ridiculed. That is part of the cost of living differently. It makes it difficult, but what is better...to please man...or to please God? How you decide will determine how you live.
